Wedding on the Terek, 1985
A documentary on traditional Circassian wedding ceremonies («Свадьба на Тереке»), directed by Vladimir Verokua in the Terek District of Kabardino-Balkaria. The Kabardinka Academic Dance Ensemble enacts the rites, with Vladimir Baragun as the hatiyak'ua (хьэтиякIуэ), the master of ceremonies, performing the wedding songs and chants.
